my printer will not print black only

Hi I have a Officejet pro 9020 printer my yellow cartridge has depleted.

I want to print black only but it will not.

I have changed the printer preferences to black only, but it still comes up with Error Cartridges depleted.

why will it not let me print in black only

Answer:

This printer model does not support printing with a depleted cartridge.

Cannot Print When One HP Ink Cartridge is Empty
