HP officejet 4622

I have a HP 4622.  It won't print.  It makes noise, it moves, but it doesn't print anything.  I changed out the ink.  Nothing.  I unplugged and plugged it back in.  Nothing.  I used a wet cotton ball to see if the new ink is too dry.  It is not.

 I'd like to help!

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load plain white U.S. letter or A4 size paper in the tray.

  2. On the control panel home screen, press the Setup icon .

  3. Press the button  next to the Down Arrow  until Reports displays next to OK.

  4. Press the button next to OK to select Reports.

  5. Press the button next to the Down Arrow  until Print Quality Report displays next to OK, and then press the button next to OK.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
