Hello!
I saw that this community requires a case to be raised to help with this question. Due to regional incompatibility and the current actual living location, I need for the printer region to be set to the one that I am in physically to be able to use the locally bought cartridges.
I have HP Envy 4520 and it uses 63 cartridges. Was told that in my region and all over the numbers were updated and changed. So now I need to use 302 XL. The issue is that HP printers use regions. The printer is supposedly of not the right region to be able to use the cartridge. Not sure why even HP sells these like so, but it seems I require help resetting the region. How to do that?

If anyone stumbles upon this situation, be it clear that you still need to make sure that the HP app country is set to your current physical location and then the old original cartridges are present when the process is started. Once that is done and the HP support finally send you the key to enter, follow the instructions. When you get a successful message, make sure to not do anything and just restart THE PRINTER. After that, the old cartridges will start showing an error that they are not comparable.

@Lileasmanau, Welcome to HP Support Community!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Take care and have a good day.

Hey @Lileasmanau,
Thank you for your response
For now, please continue using the current cartridges. Once we switch to the new region, you will need to install cartridges that are compatible with that region.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
