new envy 6400e unable to print with the cartridges that were in the box

Hello, 

I was wondering if I am able to print with the cartridges that came in the box.  They do say instant ink but I am not wanting to sign up for a contract.  Am I going to be able to print using those cartridges or do I have to now go and BUY regular cartridges just to print using the printer I JUST bought?

Did you install the cartridges in the printer?

Are you getting any error messages?

Meanwhile:-

Yes, you can use the cartridges that came with the printer in the box.

That just said instant ink ready cartridges,

If required, you can enroll in an instant ink subscription and use them as an instant ink account, or else you can use them as regular cartridges.
