I have an HP Envy 6052 printer, and the other day I went to copy an insurance card and it was very pale, so I cleaned the heads, aligned them, and the alignment page is only showing blue. I've tried everything to try and fix this, including cleaning everything, new ink cartridges, new paper, making sure every platform I'm printing from shows it's setup to color, not greyscale or monochrome, uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled them, and still, nothing. Only printing color or just blue. Please help 😄

Hi @AlanaR2053,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some print quality issues with your HP Envy 6052 printer. A pale or faded printout can be caused by several factors, including clogged printhead nozzles, low ink levels, or incorrect print settings. Since you've already tried cleaning the printheads and aligning them, here are some additional steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels. If any of the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with genuine HP cartridges.
- Run Printhead Cleaning: Run a thorough printhead cleaning cycle through the printer's software utility. This process can help unclog any blocked nozzles. Make sure to follow the printer's manual or on-screen instructions to perform this operation.
- Check Print Settings: Sometimes, incorrect print settings can affect the quality of the printout. Make sure you've selected the appropriate print quality settings in the printer driver when sending a print job. You might want to choose a higher quality setting for better results.
- Use Genuine Ink Cartridges: Using genuine HP ink cartridges is important for optimal print quality. Third-party or refilled cartridges might not deliver the same quality and could potentially cause printing issues.
- Update Printer Drivers: Outdated printer drivers could lead to compatibility issues and affect print quality. Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer.
- Perform Deep Cleaning: Some printers offer a deep cleaning option, which goes beyond the regular printhead cleaning. This can be more effective in clearing stubborn clogs.
- Check Paper Quality: The type and quality of the paper you're using can also affect the print quality. Make sure you're using the recommended paper type for your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
