Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot print black at all.  On the print test pages I get dark grey and light gray and all the other colors but no actual black.  Switched to print black and white only and page came out blank.  Switched to greyscale and nothing.  I have changed cartridges (all are HP cartridges hp 63xl) and get the same result.  Please help!

I have also done level one and level two printer head cleaning in the tools, run print doctor and everything came out saying my printer was fine yet still no black.

I understand that you are getting print quality issues, I am glad to assist you.

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
