I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 and went to replace the black 952 XL black ink cartridge with an "Original HP Product" replacement.  The cartridge I removed has a P/N "F6U19A" and identified as "Warranty Ends: 2020/07"

The cartridge I replaced it with has the exact same P/N and date.  The cartridge that was removed works fine.  The replacement will not work and provides an error "This cartridge is an older generation cartridge that does not work in your printer. It can still be used with some older printer models."

I don't care if it works with other models.  Whatever firmware update HP created has now blocked the usage of a legitimate HP cartridge that was designed to work with this model.  If HP is now defining not only what cartridges can be used by updating firmware, that is absolutely a HORRIBLE business ethic.

Please provide a resolution or a way to replace this perfectly good cartridge that you have rendered useless.
