photo print quality is bad and grained

hi, recently my prints on photo paper are bad. dark colors appear with strips. i used the printer tool to clean the cartridges (3 levels), re aligned them as well. when printing the print quality diagnostic the black is not good (see attached pic). i am not sure what to do from here. Any help is appreciated, thanks

 i am using hp cartridges and hp photo paper

Welcome to the HP User Community.

It's possible one of the ink cartridges is not dispensing ink as it should -- If true, it does seem like this would affect all prints and not just those prints on photo paper.

If all else fails and you already have spare ink to try, consider changing out the ink cartridges.
