From Microsoft's Copilot:  common places to look:

  1. On a sticker: Many HP printers have a sticker on the back, bottom, or inside the cartridge access area with the PIN and other default credentials1.

  2. On the printer display: If your printer has a display, you can find the PIN under the wireless settings or WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) settings2.

  3. In the user manual: The PIN is often listed in the printer's user manual or documentation that came with the device1.

If you're having trouble finding it, you can also check the HP support website for specific instructions for your printer model.
