poor photo printing an a 8x10 paper, but the photo paper may be 8-10 yeas old..could it be the paper?

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Yes, the photo paper will impact the photo quality. I recommend you try using a newer/fresh photo paper and check.

 

Also, in order to give you the best solution, I will need the product number or the model of your printer.
