Product: HP ENVY 5540 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, i am getting about 20 lines going across my prints from left to right on an a4 photo sheet of paper. Have tried cleaning cartridges and printer alignment. Any suggestions please?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to make clear copies from the printer?
  • Are you using the appropriate paper for your print job?
  • Have you tried with different documents or files?

If you have already performed the steps from the document: Fixing Poor Print Quality and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
