HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer

I have tried all the help /support comments and still i have a error on black in cartridge - which i think is faulty as only put in it a couple of days ago.

Anyone know how i can get in contact with support (UK) as they need to send me out replacement as part of the plan i have with them

I understand how frustrating this must be. Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps to check if we can resolve the issue before reaching out to support:

 

  1. Remove and Reinsert the Cartridge – Turn off the printer, remove the black ink cartridge, gently clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth, and reinsert it securely. Then restart the printer.
  2. Check for Firmware Updates – Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. You can update it via the HP Smart app or the HP website.
  3. Run the Printhead Cleaning Tool – Use the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel to run a printhead cleaning cycle.
  4. Try a Hard Reset – Unplug the printer from power, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

If the issue persists and you believe the cartridge is faulty, I’ll be sending you a private message with the support contact details so you can request a replacement under your plan.
