My printer will print, but the ink has streaks in it. I have run the clean settings and the alignment settings, and i have also reset the printer. Nothing is working. Help before I throw it out my window. Is a HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format all-in-one series

Hi @thissuxsobadly,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand the frustration, especially since you have already tried cleaning, alignment, and resetting the printer. If the OfficeJet Pro 7740 is still printing but the ink has streaks, let’s focus on the remaining print-quality checks.
1. Clean the printhead
- Load plain white paper into the tray.
- On the printer control panel, swipe down on the touchscreen to open the Dashboard.
- Touch the Setup icon.
- Touch Printer Maintenance, and then touch Clean Printhead.
2. Check the ink cartridges
Very low ink levels and non-HP or refilled cartridges can cause print-quality problems.
- Replace any non-HP or refilled cartridges with genuine HP cartridges.
- On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and touch the Ink Level Indicator.
- Check the ink levels and replace any low or empty cartridges.
- If the cartridges were recently installed, allow a few hours for the printer's automatic servicing routine to complete, then print again.
3. Check the paper and print settings
Make sure the paper is clean, dry, and not wrinkled or curled. Also check the print settings for the correct paper type, paper size, color, and print quality.
4. Align the printhead
- Load plain white paper.
- Swipe down on the printer touchscreen to open the Dashboard.
- Touch Setup.
- Touch Printer Maintenance, and then Align Printhead.
Since you have already tried cleaning and alignment, if the streaking continues after checking the cartridges and paper, the next HP step is printhead replacement. HP provides the replacement procedure for the OfficeJet Pro 7740.
If replacing the printhead does not resolve the print-quality problem, HP recommends having the printer serviced.
