Hi @lrados,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is only printing one copy regardless of your selection, here are some potential causes and solutions.

  • Print Settings: Double-check your print settings in the print dialog box. Ensure that the number of copies is correctly set to the number you want to print. Sometimes, the default setting might be overridden by another option.
  • Printer Driver: Make sure your printer driver is up to date. An outdated or corrupted driver can cause issues with print jobs. You can download the latest driver from the HP website.
  • Printer Software: If you're using HP's software (like HP Smart), check the settings there as well. Sometimes the software settings can override the settings in the print dialog.
  • Print Queue: Check your print queue for any stuck jobs that might be causing problems. Sometimes, clearing the print queue and restarting the print job can resolve issues.
  • Firmware Update: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.
  • Default Printer Settings: Sometimes, the default settings on the printer itself might be set to print only one copy. Check the printer’s control panel or menu to ensure it is not set to only print one copy.
  • Document Software Settings: If you’re printing from a specific application, such as a PDF reader or word processor, check the print settings within that application.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
