Hi @isiguttman,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Open HP Smart
Download and Install HP Smart:
- If you don't have it already, download and install HP Smart on your computer or mobile device from the HP website or your app store.
Open HP Smart:
- Launch the HP Smart app on your device.
Add Your Printer:
- Ensure your printer is added to the HP Smart app. If not, click on the Add Printer button and follow the on-screen instructions to add your HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475.
Align the Print Cartridges
Access Printer Settings:
- In the HP Smart app, select your printer.
- Click on Print Quality Tools.
Start Alignment:
- Select Align Printheads or Align Cartridges.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to print an alignment page.
Scan the Alignment Page:
- Place the printed alignment page face down on the scanner glass.
- Close the scanner lid and press Scan.
- The printer will align the cartridges based on the scanned page.
Confirm Alignment
- Print a Test Page:
- After alignment, print a test page to check the print quality.
- Ensure there are no missing parts in the rows of text or images.
I hope this helps.
