Hi @Pooliq8,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
To check which ink cartridge needs to be replaced on your HP printer using Windows 11, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download or open the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store: HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store.
- Add your printer if it’s not already connected.
- On the home screen, click your printer icon.
- Look for Supply Status or Estimated Ink Levels.
- It will show a visual indicator of each cartridge (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) and which one is low or empty.
Method 2: From the Printer’s Control Panel
If your printer has a touchscreen:
- Tap the Ink icon or go to Settings > Ink Levels.
- It will display the ink levels for each cartridge.
Method 3: Using Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Find your printer’s IP address (usually shown on the control panel under network settings).
- Open a browser and enter the IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.5).
- Go to the Supplies or Ink Levels section.
- You’ll see which cartridge is low.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
