Hi @Neile13,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is only printing in black and white from your PC, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that your print settings are not set to print in grayscale or black and white.

  • In Windows, go to the printer settings in the Control Panel, and check the "Color Options" or "Output Color" settings in the driver dialog box.

  • Make sure "Print in color" is selected.

Review Application Settings:

  • If you are printing from a specific application, check the application's print settings as they might override system settings.

  • Ensure that color printing is enabled within the application you are using.

Update Printer Driver:

  • Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. Visit HP's website to download the latest driver for your printer model.

  • Ensure the driver version you have installed supports color printing.

Check Ink Cartridge Levels:

  • Confirm that your color ink cartridges are installed correctly and have sufficient ink. An empty color cartridge might default the printer to black and white mode.

Printer Configuration:

  • Verify that the printer is correctly configured to print color by checking settings accessible from the printer’s front panel or via its Embedded Web Server.

Printer Reset:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and power it on. This can sometimes reset settings that may have been inadvertently changed.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
