I found the below image from a previous post that had no response.
I have this same issue, and have not seen it before. I'm trying to print an A3 document, building plans, and all the lines come out like this.
It is printing at the right size, A3, configured as A3 and fills the page as it should.
When I print test pages, they come out perfect with beautiful straight lines. I have tried printing multiple files with the same result.
Can anyone help out with ideas please!?:-)

Welcome to the HP support community.
This seems to be a driver issue.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer-related software.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.

Ok, so just tried the A4 option from the second tray in this printer and it came out crisp and perfect.
I can't figure out why the A3 print lines are so distorted.
As far as I can tell I've set the options required for A3 printing, which is in a bout 4 different places to set the paper size.
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks
