Hi @M234dwe2 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the "Err 75" on your HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe usually indicates an issue with the toner cartridge authentication or compatibility. Since your old toner works but the new one doesn't, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Check Cartridge Compatibility
- Ensure you are using a genuine HP toner. Your printer uses HP 134A or 134X toner cartridges.
- If you bought a remanufactured or third-party toner, it might not be recognized by the printer.
2. Reinstall the New Cartridge Properly
- Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove the new toner cartridge and gently shake it side to side to evenly distribute the toner.
- Check for any protective seals or plastic covers and remove them.
- Reinsert the new toner firmly into place.
- Plug in the printer, turn it back on, and check if the error persists.
3. Reset the Printer
- Remove the new toner and insert the old one.
- Go to the HP Smart app or the printer control panel and perform a factory reset.
- Press & hold the Wireless + Cancel buttons for 10 seconds to reset.
- Once reset, turn off the printer and reinsert the new toner.
4. Update Printer Firmware
- If your firmware is outdated, it might reject certain cartridges.
- Download the latest firmware from Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Install it and restart your printer.
5. Try Another New Cartridge
- If none of the above steps work, the new toner might be defective.
- If possible, try another genuine HP toner from a trusted source.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi, Thanks for helping! the New toner cartridges was bought from Amazon and have HP orange package box and the seller said that's from HP. I'll try to do the step 3 to 5 that you suggested in the other e-mail and let you know ASAP.
Thanks again!
