Instant Ink is a Print-by-Page Subscription service.

Ink is supplied while the contract is active for the plan selected.

Ink is only sent when the printer reports to the service that ink is needed.

First, read your Terms of Service contract and the FAQ at the Website to understand the service.

If you wish to cancel, read the section in the contract on how to cancel the subscription.

After the subscription is cancelled, remember that Instant Ink cartridges remain the property of HP.

After termination of the contract, the Instant Ink Cartridges will lock and cannot be used (in any printer).

The Instant Ink cartridges should be returned to HP.

At the least, the cartridges must be removed from the printer - Purchase ink to use after the contract is cancelled.
