Hi @enamoradoana ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a printhead problem there are a couple of things you can try to fix the printhead problem on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-in-One Printer with Windows 11:

1. Check for Obstructions and Clean the Carriage Path:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Open the cartridge door and look for any debris or obstructions in the carriage path. This could be crumpled paper, bits of labels, or other foreign objects.
  • With the power cord still unplugged, carefully remove any debris you find.

2. Clean and Realign the Printhead:

  • Your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 likely has a utility on the printer itself that allows you to clean and realign the printhead. Consult your printer's user manual or search the HP website for specific instructions on how to do this for your model.
  • In general, you'll navigate through the printer's menu to find options for cleaning and aligning the printhead. The printer will likely go through a cleaning cycle that may take a few minutes.

3. Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly seated and that they have enough ink. Low ink levels can sometimes cause printhead problems.
  • If the cartridges are low or empty, replace them with genuine HP cartridges. Using non-genuine cartridges can also lead to printhead issues.

4. Restart the Printer and Computer:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can fix glitches that might be causing the printhead problem.
  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your computer as well.
