hello, I just ordered HP ink for my printer. I installed it and it started printing blank pages. Even my color ink is not working. Do I have replace all the ink before it starts printing. On the screen, it shows yellow sign for color ink and black ink is ok.

Hi @ravneetka,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've installed new ink cartridges and your HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 is still printing blank pages, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow.
- Check the Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have enough ink. You can check the ink levels on your printer or through the printer software on your computer.
- Verify Cartridge Installation: Make sure that the ink cartridges are correctly installed. Open the printer cover, remove the cartridges, and then reinsert them properly. Follow the printer's manual for instructions on how to install or replace ink cartridges.
- Run Print Quality Diagnostic: Most printers have a built-in print quality diagnostic tool. Use this tool to check the health of your ink cartridges and identify any issues. Refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to run a print quality diagnostic.
- Clean the Print Heads: If the print heads are clogged, it can result in blank pages. Many printers have a built-in option to clean the print heads. Refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to clean the print heads.
- Update Printer Firmware/Driver: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware or driver installed. HP often release updates that address performance issues and improve compatibility.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Restart the printer and check if the issue persists.
- Check for Error Messages: If there are error messages on the printer's display, note them down. Error messages can provide valuable information about the nature of the problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
