Hi @TMD65

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating it feels when the printer goes through all the motions but leaves you with blank pages, especially when you’ve already confirmed the cartridges are full.

Let’s walk through some steps that often bring the DeskJet 3755 back to proper printing:

Step 1: Reseat the Cartridges

  • Open the access door and carefully remove both cartridges.
  • Wipe the copper contacts gently with a lint‑free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  • Let them dry for a minute, then reseat firmly into their slots.

Step 2: Run a Test Page

  • On the printer, press and hold the Cancel and Color Copy buttons together.
  • This prints a hardware test page.
  • If black or color is missing here, it confirms the issue is with the cartridge or printhead.

Step 3: Clean the Printhead

  • Open the HP App on your computer or phone.
  • Select your printer, go to Printer Settings > Tools > Clean Printhead.
  • Run the cleaning cycle up to three times, testing after each run.

Step 4: Align the Printhead

  • In the HP App, choose Align Printhead.
  • This ensures ink is being laid down correctly.

Step 5: Check Cartridge Vent

  • Remove the cartridge and inspect the small vent hole near the label.
  • If clogged, gently clear it with a pin.
  • Reinstall and test again.

Step 6: Replace if Necessary

  • Even if the app shows ink levels as full, cartridges can fail internally.
  • Installing a fresh HP 65 cartridge (black or tri‑color) is the surest way to confirm.

You’ve already taken the right step by checking ink levels. With these actions—reseating, cleaning, and testing—you’ll know whether the issue is with the cartridge itself or the printhead.
