printing envelopes only wavey / chopped text

only when I print envlopes, it prints in  this wired wavey or chopped text.

Using word from MS365  (old office) all other documents, pictures print fine.

I was having issues with mismatched paper sizing, but I think I fixed that one. 

Just can't get this one fixed.

Perhaps check the Driver assignment in Printer Properties > Tab Advanced > Driver

Ideally, these should be set to use your installed HP full driver printer software as opposed to the IPP / Microsoft drivers.

Can you create an envelope shaped and sized document (in Word) and print that?

 Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Printer - Margins

Important

DeskJet printers do not support Borderless

and

DeskJet printers require a larger margin along the bottom edge of the paper. 

These limitations impact how content is printed on paper.

This DeskJet printer requires a larger margin along the bottom edge (1/2 inch).

Borderless Printing

No

Print Margin Bottom (A4)	12.7 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)	3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)	3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)	3 mm

There is no software, firmware, or alignment that changes the larger margin requirement.

The solution to "chopped off" is to keep all data inside of 1/2 inch / 12.7mm on the bottom edge. 

This limitation includes all text, images, page numbers, footer information, cells, tables, lines, other notations, and all file types, too.

Create your original document with 12.7mm ( 1/2 inch ) margins.
