Hi @Jill2711 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 is consistently printing faint pink and yellow, even after replacing all color cartridges with new ones, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take:

Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the new cartridges have sufficient ink. Most printers allow you to check ink levels through the printer software or control panel. Make sure that the ink levels are adequate for all colors.

Run Printer Diagnostic Tools: Many printers, including HP models, come with diagnostic tools or software that can help identify and fix printing issues. Check your printer's manual or HP's official website for diagnostic tools that may be available for your model.

Clean Print Heads: Print heads can become clogged, leading to poor print quality. Most printers have a utility for cleaning print heads. Refer to your printer manual or use the printer software on your computer to find and run the print head cleaning utility.

Alignment Check: Perform a print head alignment check. This ensures that the printer is properly aligning the colors. This option is often available in the printer software on your computer.

Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 compatible with Windows 11.

Check Color Settings: Verify that the color settings in the printer software and the print settings in your application are correct. Ensure that you are not printing in grayscale or using a color profile that may be causing the issue.

Inspect Cartridges: Double-check that you have removed any protective tape or covers from the new cartridges. Sometimes, these covers are not fully removed, obstructing the ink flow.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
