Hi @hyamk007,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you’ve been thorough with the troubleshooting steps, but since the yellow ink still isn’t printing, here are a few additional suggestions:

Check the Ink System:

  • Ensure the yellow ink tank is properly seated and not clogged. Sometimes, even after filling, ink tanks can have issues if they’re not inserted correctly.
  • Verify that the ink tank is the correct one for your model and hasn’t been damaged.

Inspect and Clean the Ink Cartridges:

  • If you haven’t already, gently remove the yellow ink cartridge and check for any visible damage or obstructions. Clean the contacts on both the cartridge and the printer using a lint-free cloth and some distilled water.

Perform a Deep Cleaning:

  • Many printers have a “deep cleaning” option in the maintenance menu, which can be more effective than standard cleaning. Run this to see if it helps clear any blockages in the printhead.

Check for Air Bubbles:

  • Air bubbles can sometimes block ink flow. You might need to perform a manual ink priming if your printer allows it. Consult your printer’s manual for instructions on how to do this.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Sometimes firmware updates can resolve printing issues. Check the HP website or HP Smart app to see if there are any updates available for your printer.

Check the Printhead:

  • If the printhead is removable, you can try cleaning it gently with a soft cloth and distilled water.

Test with a New Cartridge:

  • If possible, try using a new yellow ink cartridge to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the ink or the printer itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
