put new hp in k cartridges in now getting error stating problem with printer or ink system

It sounds frustrating to deal with printer issues, especially after installing new ink cartridges. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the error:

Verify Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure the ink cartridges you installed are compatible with your printer model. Check this document - Which cartridges work with my HP printer? | HP® Support

Reinstall the Cartridge: Sometimes, the cartridge might not be inserted correctly. Remove the cartridge and reinstall it firmly, ensuring it clicks into place properly.

Clean the Cartridge and Printer: Use a lint-free cloth to clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge and the corresponding contacts in the printer. Dirt or residue can sometimes cause connection issues.

Perform a Reset: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes installing the latest firmware can resolve compatibility issues with new cartridges. Check here -  Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
