Hi @mstarr3447,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing color printing issues with a new HP color cartridge in your HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One printer, despite cleaning and aligning the print heads, here are some additional steps to troubleshoot.

  • Check Ink Cartridge Installation: Double-check the ink cartridge installation to ensure it is securely placed in the correct slot. Sometimes, a cartridge may not make proper contact, causing color printing issues.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix common printing issues. It can help detect problems with the printer, including issues related to ink cartridges or print head alignment.
  • Check Ink Levels: Even though the cartridge is new, it's worth verifying the ink levels through the printer's display or HP Smart app to confirm there is enough ink.
  • Perform a Printhead Cleaning Again: You mentioned you've cleaned the heads, but performing a deeper cleaning cycle may help. Access the printer's settings or use the HP Smart app to initiate a more thorough cleaning process.
  • Check for Obstructions: Inspect the printhead for any residual dried ink or debris that might be obstructing the flow of ink.
  • Test with a Different Cartridge: If possible, try a different new color cartridge, as the issue might be specific to the one you just installed, even if it's new.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed, as outdated firmware can sometimes cause printing issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
