HP ENVY Photo 6234

Hi All

I have subscribed to HP instant ink cartridge replacement program.

I have replaced my colour cartridge by another one sent by HP and I keep getting the following message :" remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed".

My printer is  "HP ENVY Photo 6234" printer. If anyone has the solution to this problem, would you mind posting it to me?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.

The firmware update is not working. Once i download it, the status of printer is " up-to-date", therefore, no update is required.

I have reconnected my printer to a different wall outlet and it's still not working. I assume the problem might be related to something else.

Is there any other tip that you can suggest?

Thanks

If you insert your old ink, do you still get the error message?

No, I don't have the same error message when I put back the old one which has just been sent back to HP
