Hi,

I have a brand new out of the box HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One. I setup everything according to the instructions and it wasn't happy with the ink cartridges so I reseated them and now I get "Only one set of instant ink cartridges can be used in a printer. Remove and replace with other cartridges" After a little more than an hour of going in circles on the HP site I thought I'd try here.

Thank you for any help/suggestions

Mike

@mmarkov, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you using the ink cartridges that came with the printer?

Make sure the plastic tape if any, is removed from the new ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

For now, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Yes to both.

This is an instant ink printer and the message popped up after reseating the ink and restarting the setup I got the message. I'm sorry I didn't include all of that in my original message. I should add I retired from over 20 years of tech repair.

After 4 hours going in circles with the basically worthless online help system and another hour on the phone I may have a resolve, we'll see when the mail comes.
