I bought a hp envy inspire which was delivered Sunday March 30th. I ordered HP instant ink that same day. On the1st of April was printing pictures and ran out of color ink Pictures 1/2 color 1/2 black and white. Contacted HP support by phone. Took a long time before I was able to connect with a person as the automatic assistant does not seem to understand that I want to speak with a person. I explained that my color cartridge had run out of some color and the black and white was showing about 75 % used. By this time I had printed 70 pages. I was told that i should get a shipment in about 10 days. I asked what I was suppose to do in the meantime. I was finally told that I could buy cartridges and i would be reimbursed with a credit on my account. I ordered ink cartridges and they arrived yesterday, I called today again spending a bunch of time trying to get through to a person, the automated answering service apparently not able to understand that I wanted to talk with someone. I wanted to find out how I should send a copy of the invoice so that the could add the credit to my account, The girl speaking to me told me that that was not how things work. When i told her what I was told, I guess she finally got frustrated with me and hung up. I then went to the on line site and eventually ending exchanging messages with a person, accidently got disconnected, my fault this time, then reconnected with another person who eventually told me that all she could do was give me a 1 month extra free. She asked me if she could go ahead with this and I stated no, I wished to speak with a supervisor or manager as i was promised a credit on my account. She than was apparently trying to get a supervisor or manager, which i had asked for in the beginning of my conversation. However, after nearly 2 hours online, nearly 2 hours on line, I had to leave for an appointment, I asked to have a way for me to connect with a manager and left the chat open, i eventually got a email that said the chat was closed. to add insult to injury i received this notice from HP instant ink

I am then told that i can contact support either online or by phoning. Also, even thought phone calls are supposedly recorded, the call I made to the first person seems to have disappeared. Also I just checked at 11 PM MDT to see what is happening and apparently shipments were made on March 30, and 31st. I checked the tracking numbers and only a label has been created.. Why is it so difficult to talk to someone in management and why should it ake 2 hours to try sove a problem on line. |

Recommended monthly page count for your printer model is 300-400 pages.
If you have a 700 monthly plan, I assume you will print that much, your printer will be falling apart within 6 months. If you plan to print 700 pages monthly, I would recommend that you get a way better printer.

Hi Valsimot, Thanks for your input and I will certainly keep that in mind., My concern was that when I had printed 70 pages my color ink cartridge ridge ran out at approximately half of that and that at 70 pages, it showed my color cartridge as needing to be replaced and my black cartridge at approximately 70% used. I am currently using a hight number of pages as my spouse is getting some information on a health issue.
