Here's how to replace the ink cartridge in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8725 — and I’ve got video walkthroughs to make it even easier:

Step-by-Step Guide to Replace Ink Cartridges

 

Power On the Printer

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and idle before starting.

 

Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door

  • Lift the front panel to expose the ink cartridge carriage.
  • Wait for the carriage to stop moving.

 

Remove the Old Cartridge

  • Gently press the front of the cartridge to release it.
  • Pull it straight out and set it aside for recycling.

 

Prepare the New Cartridge

  • Unpack the new HP 952 or 952XL cartridge.
  • Avoid touching the copper contacts or ink nozzles.

 

Install the New Cartridge

  • Slide it into the correct slot (match the color and letter).
  • Push until it clicks into place.

 

Close the Access Door

  • Lower the panel and wait for the printer to initialize.
