Purchased new print head from HP for 8620 printer. INstalled print head and setup cartridges that came with print head. Printer now says remove setup cartridges as they are not needed but the print head won't come out of the dog house to do so. Cant get into hidden setup menu either. Suggestions?

Hi @randyhas,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing a carriage jam, as the printhead is stuck and also receiving a " do not use setup ink " error.
Try the below suggestions -
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Try the steps in the document --HP Printers - Carriage jam or E3 error
