If you need to replace the black ink cartridge in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 printer, follow these detailed steps:

Open the Printer Door:

• Open the front door of the printer.
• Lift the cartridge access door until it locks into place.
  

Wait for the Carriage to Stop:

• Wait until the carriage stops moving before you proceed.

Remove the Old Cartridge:

• Locate the black ink cartridge and push it down to release it from its slot.
• Remove the ink cartridge from its slot.

Prepare the New Cartridge:

• Remove the new ink cartridge from its package.
• Pull the orange pull-tab straight back to remove the plastic wrap. Make sure to remove the orange pull-tab and plastic wrap completely before proceeding.
  

Remove the Orange Cap:

• Hold the ink cartridge by its sides and twist the orange cap counter-clockwise to remove it.
  

Insert the New Cartridge:

• Slide the new black ink cartridge into its corresponding slot and press down until it snaps into place.
  

Close the Doors:

• Close the cartridge access door.
• Close the front door of the printer.

Your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 printer is now ready to use with the new black ink cartridge.
