My hp color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn continuously giving me supply problem with the screenshot ''the indicated supplied are not communicating correctly with the printer'' Any help?

If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn is continuously giving you a supply problem with the message "the indicated supplies are not communicating correctly with the printer," there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

 

  • Check Supplies: Ensure that all the supplies (toner cartridges, drums, etc.) are properly installed in the printer and are genuine HP supplies. Sometimes, third-party or counterfeit supplies can cause communication issues.
  • Reinstall Supplies: Try removing and reinserting the supplies back into the printer. Make sure they are securely seated in their respective slots.
  • Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a couple of minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix bugs and improve communication with supplies.
