Hi @desiree123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error message  HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-In-One Printer support supply problem on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
  • Was there any recent update on the printer before the issue?
  • Was there any paper jam or carriage jam issue on the printer recently?

While you respond to that, Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update the printer firmware

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that all ink cartridges are properly installed in their respective slots. Sometimes, cartridges may not be seated correctly, leading to errors.
  • Inspect Cartridge Condition: Check the cartridges for any damage or leaks. If a cartridge is damaged or leaking, it may not be recognized by the printer or could cause errors.
  • Clean Cartridge Contacts: Clean the electrical contacts on both the ink cartridges and the printer carriage. Use a clean, lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol. This can help to establish better connections between the cartridges and the printer.
  • Reset Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug the printer back in and turn it on. This action can sometimes reset the printer and clear error messages.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. HP periodically releases firmware updates to address known issues and improve printer performance. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.
  • Perform Printer Diagnostic Tests: Many printers have built-in diagnostic tests or utilities that can help identify and troubleshoot problems. Refer to your printer's user manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to run diagnostic tests.
