Microsoft Windows 11

As per many others, I terminated the HP ink supply process as it simply made zero financial sense.

I have purchased replacement HP Cartridges, but my print continues to object to the new supplies.

I have tried the resets in other chats and still no resolution.

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink, or you cancel your subscription, you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.

Instant ink cartridges can only be used when the ink subscription is active.

Some HP printers can use non-HP ink

Absolutely, I 100% concur.

Problem is I have inserted 100% genuine HP, bought from the store today, HP required Cartridges, 953's x B/C/Y/M and the printer objects.

I have powered  down, up, plugged out power lead, taken out ink, put back in ink.....everything in the other threads I read suggested and a few more steps, best not mentioned here in case there a young eyes, and still the printer objects.

Absolutely regret ever trying the HP ink supply concept. I would advise others to keep well away.

Should work unless it is like this

Genuine HP ink, even has the hologram. The above "NON-OEM" not on the packaging.

To check if an HP ink cartridge is genuine, look for a security label on the cartridge, scan the QR code on the label with your phone, and then go to HP's website hp.com/go/ok to verify the serial number on the label; if the label appears tampered or the serial number doesn't validate, the cartridge is likely not genuine

If possible, return the printer and get one of the blessed ones.

AFAIK  none of the laserjet type have this problem anymore.

I have cm1415 and it takes really cheap toners but there is no photo quality unless i get the HP ones.

all good...rather silly though that its only the QR code on the packaging you can check rather than the label on the cartridge. Was fortunate to still have boxes and not gone in trash.
