Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

i am enrolled in instant ink and changed the cartridge a few months ago. The levels are still fine or so my printer says. I have been printing large text banners on microsoft powerpoint and the printing has been ok but  the past few days the colour and black ink are both miss aligned. I have gone through a re alignment but it hasn't worked. What can i do? I am not about to go and pay out for more ink if the cartridges are half full and i am enrolled in instant ink and this is the only option there is really. I can't seem to get anyone on online chat. What do I do if the ink cartridges are no longer printing working properly? I have also done the clean cartridge options.

Cheers

@Vixmag, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the printouts are misaligned.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

To assist you better, have you tried printing any other documents to check if it prints fine?

This could be an application-specific issue.

You may refer to this document to troubleshoot print quality issues - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

Also, follow the steps from this document - Alignment errors

If the issue persists, insert one ink cartridge at a time and check the print alignment to identify the defective ink cartridge.

Let me know how this goes.
