Product: HP LaserJet Pro M118dw

installation is supposed to be easy; however, this is the second attempt to replace the laser jet toner cartridge A94 on a Laser jet Pro M118dw printer.  after installing the replacement toner, closing the cover, the printer seems to run through the process trying to accept the toner but the printer keeps on spinning as if should be clicking with something but is not forcing me to take the cartridge out.  When the original toner is re-installed, there is not problem; the printer recognizes it and no issues.  What is the problem, why is  the printer not accept/recognizing the replacement toner, which is an HP toner A94?
