I have brand new Envy 6234 printer and using the ink cartridges supplied. Set printer up as directed and aligned print heads etc. Just tried printing a photo and I am getting thin horizontal white lines every 13.5mm. See scan of the print. I have tried HP photo paper and others - all the same. Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

You need to set on your computer printer properties you are printing photos, that will make the printer driver increase print quality and you will have a way better photo printed. Take note that printing photos use a lot of ink.

Hi, Thanks for the help. I discovered that I have the printer listed twice, the one I was using is using the Microsoft printer driver and, although I had set to best and glossy paper clearly does not work well. I selected the other printer entry and that is using the HP driver and works fine.
Thanks once again.
