HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am so frustrated with my Neverstop laser printer MRP1202nw. I can not get the toner reload kit to turn no matter how hard I try. (I just bought two from HP (143A - the kit selected on the hp web site to work with this printer) and now I have no use for them.) ) The three dots only show flashing amber not flashing white as expected because the toner level is very low.  I followed all the recommended steps others have offered to resolve the problem with no luck-unplugged the printer, adjusted how the kit was nested in the toner portal, check for update drivers, etc..

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially after purchasing the correct HP 143A toner reload kit. Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, here are some additional things to check:

1. Ensure Proper Installation of the Toner Reload Kit

  • Shake the toner reload kit gently before inserting it.
  • Align the kit correctly in the toner portal.
  • Rotate the kit firmly until it completes the 180-degree turn.

2. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

3. Check for Blockages

  • Inspect the toner inlet for any debris or obstructions.
  • Use a lint-free cloth to clean the area.

4. Update Printer Firmware

5. Manually Reset the Toner Sensor

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from the power source.
  • Hold the Power button for 30 seconds to reset its memory.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Let me know if any of these steps help! 😊
