My HP Laserjet M281fdw will not print in RED! it only prints yellow? Is this a simple error or is it fatel! Toner is only 90% used, so plenty of toner available

Toner remaining estimates are just that, estimates and unfortunately not exact indicators of remaining toner. If you are getting no magenta at all it is possible that your cartridge is in fact empty. If it is reading 10% left I would not be surprised if it does not print.

Many thanks for your prompt reply. I must admit, I thought that may be the problem, so I went out and purchased a new toner cartridge and the same thing happens, not printing red at all only yellow. I'm beginning to wonder, is it time to bin!
