I already tried "Quality Diagnostic Page - 3 tries" a couple of times (not continuous) but then the lines are still visible. So i tried cleaning the printhead (black and colored) but only the lines on the black printed disappeared. i want to try to fix it first before going to the support center since it's too far to travel. thank you

Hi @Vann3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I hear that if horizontal lines are still visible after multiple diagnostic/cleaning attempts and only the black print improves, the remaining issue is likely with the colour printhead/nozzles.
What to do next
Print the Image/Print Quality Diagnostic page again
- Check whether the color blocks/rectangles still show horizontal lines or missing dashes/white lines.
- HP notes that if one color shows defects while others improve, the affected printhead likely still needs attention.
Clean the affected color printhead again
- HP recommends cleaning faulty printheads and then reprinting the diagnostic page.
- If the problem remains, clean the printheads again and retest.
- Since black improved, but color did not, focus on the color printhead.
If repeated cleaning does not fix the color lines
- HP says to consider manual cleaning of the printhead (if supported for your model), then test again.
- If the color printhead continues to show defects after repeated cleanings, replace the faulty printhead or contact HP Support.
Also, check these settings
- Make sure the paper type loaded matches the paper type selected in the printer/software.
- Use a higher print-quality setting.
- If available for your printer, run printhead alignment and paper advance/linefeed calibration, since HP says these can also cause horizontal line issues.
I hope this will help.
Take care and have a good day.
