True "Web Scan" via the Embedded Web Server (EWS) is not supported on this printer series.

Web Scan / Webscan is a specialty operation that does not require any extra software -- it does require a printer that supports the feature and the printer must be connected to your network.
-- What else? --
This printer series supports a number of digital send operations, including Scan to Network Folder and Quick Sets (in EWS) to semi-automate the process.
Scan to Network Folder is fully explained in your printer's user guide:
