My printer says the toner is out.  I looked   in the drawer that has the four inks, but no toner cartridge is visible to me?  where is it?

HI @stanleyh1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

On the HP LaserJet 200 Color M251nw, the toner cartridges are located inside the printer, not in the drawer you mentioned. Here’s how to access them:

Steps to Access the Toner Cartridges

Open the Front Cover:

  • Gently pull down the front cover of the printer. This will expose the toner cartridge compartment.

Remove the Toner Cartridges:

  • You should see the four toner cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). To remove a cartridge, lift the handle and pull it out.

Check the Toner Levels:

  • Look at the toner cartridges to see which one is empty or low on toner. You can also replace any that are empty at this time.

Install New Cartridges:

  • If you need to replace any cartridges, remove the new toner from its packaging and install it by sliding it into the corresponding slot until it clicks into place.

Close the Front Cover:

  • After replacing the cartridges, close the front cover securely.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
