Replacing the Magenta ink should resume printing, you cannot print if any of the ink cartridges are empty:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04331666

If the printer show a Depleted message, I doubt the Estimated Ink Level screen on the printer should otherwise, it will show an error or attention mark below a depleted cartridge.

Click the top bar on the printer screen and then the Ink Drop icon and evaluate the levels there, please include a picture of the estimated ink levels screen on the printer screen if any other information is shown there.

That is coincidence, your ink cartridges were already low on ink. If you are still using the ink cartridges that came with the new printer they are probably all empty.

1 color magenta is empty and the other 3 are still 50% . The screen shows the ink level though and I can feel it if I shake the cartridge it makes that ink sound in it..

what can I do with it now?

HP Recommended

Ink level is an estimate, if you can print the printer will stop when any cartridge reaches very low level.

I have been printing as black only with 1 empty cartridge . It wasn’t a problem since I mistakenly pressed clean smear option. How can I upload an image here to show the remaining ink levels?

HP Recommended

You may print with Black only when any ink cartridge is Low, not when it depleted (fully ends), then it must be replaced to resume printing.

I assume the Magenta cartridge was low and depleted during the cleaning tasks, such require some ink.

You may click the to camera icon in the reply dialog top bar, then you may add an image saved to your device.
