@2126yoty, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your cartridge issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer is only printing half a page, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check for software updates: Ensure that the printer firmware and driver software are up to date. You can find the latest software updates from the HP website.

Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Check and replace ink cartridges: Make sure the ink cartridges are properly seated and have enough ink. Follow these steps:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Check ink levels and replace any low or empty cartridges.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door.
  • Align the ink cartridges as prompted.

Clean the printhead: Clean the printhead using the HP Utility. Here's how:

  • Load plain paper into the input tray.
  • Open HP Printer Assistant from your computer.
  • Click "Maintain Your Printer" and select "Clean Cartridges".
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to clean the printhead.

Check the paper size and type settings: Ensure the paper size and type settings in your print menu match the loaded paper.

Test the printer: Print a test page. If the issue persists, proceed to the next steps.

Print Head Alignment: After replacing or cleaning the ink cartridges, ensure the print head is properly aligned. The printer should automatically print an alignment page after changing the cartridges.

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
