Product: HP laserjet Pro 426FDW

During copying & scanning original papers pass smoothly from ADF (Document Feeder) and stops at the end of the exit section. Everything seems fine. I don't why paper stops at the end after complete scanning. There is no paper jam indication at the display and documents kept scanning one by one. First paper stops at the exit and the next scanned paper pushes the first one to move forward then second paper stops at the same position then the next paper pushes it forward and stops. This process continues till the last paper scans and no paper jams but last paper stops at the exit. Any ideas?

HP Recommended

The HP LJ 426 uses an ADF/scanner assembly.  It is replaced as one unit.  If it is not fully ejecting the paper, first try cleaning the exit rollers.  Then, update the firmware.  Let me know the results.
