I've tried clean those roller and those part with soft cloth with warm water (moist). However, the problem still persists.

Please advice.

Thanks.

You need to open the top cover to access the scanning glass and clean the smaller glass on the left side.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Does the copy print out the same way?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi, thanks for your response.

Yes, print out the same result too.  Its only when im using top feeder scanning.

However, if im using the flatbed scanner - no issue.

And as well printing - no issue too and no dirty prints.

I will check the steps given and share the outcome later.

Thanks again.

Hi,

  • Does the copy print out the same way?

Yes, if scan from feeder. The print out is the same with the lines.

If we scan using flatbed - no issue.

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

> checked and no issue found. it is mostly check if setting is correct.

i suspected the feeder scanner's sensor either is dirty or faulty.

Please advice on where is the exact scan sensor we need to looks into. Thanks.
