Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, we have an M454 that prints just fine from the smaller tray, but the extended larger tray it sits on top keeps causing "Cleaning mode", repeated duplicate prints, etc. When we remove all the paper from that tray it prints with no issues.

 

I've checked the rollers and cleaned the main pickup one with alcohol, and when removing the larger tray there doesn't seem to be anything else I can clean. 

 

Thanks for any guidance towards a solution.

Hi,

Please clarify which tray you refer to, is it the 250 sheet Tray 2 included with the printer, or the additional optional 550 sheets paper tray?
